PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
Housing Finance (HF), Kenya’s largest and leading mortgage company with country wide operations has
an exciting opportunity for talented, dynamic, self-driven and result oriented individual with a commitment
to performance excellence.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager - Marketing the main purpose for this role will be to position
Housing Finance brand as a premier financial enabler for the property industry in Kenya through relevant
PR drives.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following Key Result Areas:
• Plan, organize and direct Public Relations activities and events that enhance HF relationship with
various target audience and enhance positive publicity
• Build employee confidence in the Housing Finance brand and products through proactive internal
communication initiatives
• Identify communication opportunities/needs and implement proactive publicity programs to gain
the desired brand recognition within the various target audience
• Identify and implement CSR activities to foster community relations with Housing Finance
• Manage PR agencies and the media to enhance understanding of Housing Finance requirements
and ensure informed and accurate reporting

The ideal candidates should possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or any other business related
course from a recognized institution

Vacancy- Procurement Manager Job Kenya

H. Young & Co. (E.A) Ltd, a Construction and Engineering Company, is looking for a qualified individual to urgently fill the vacancy of a Procurement (Imports) Manager stationed at our Nairobi office.
Main Tasks:
Follow-up purchase requests.
Negotiate for products that offer good value for money for all purchase orders
Secure stable resources and maintain link with those suppliers in order to ensure a good stable supply
Follow up with clearing agents to ensure proper taxation is applied.
Deliver goods to the Stores, after checking the quality and quantity thus formalizing delivery of goods to the stores
Supervise and manage project stock i.e Stock taking, stock control and verification of materials
Coordination and dispatch of the procured materials to the relevant department/sites
Requirements:
At least a relevant University degree e.g. B.Com, Engineering etc. A post graduate diploma in Purchasing, clear and forwarding or Logistics will be an added advantage
 Atleast 4 years’ experience at a reputable organization in the same or equal capacity.
Good working knowledge of importations procedures and documentation is a must.
 Well-developed IT Skills
 Strong interpersonal skills, strong initiative, able to handle complex assignments with proactive attitude.
 Team player with strong analytical skills, attention to details (precise)
Flexible and able to work in a demanding and challenging work environment

Our Company SasaHivi Media Ltd (‘Sasa Hivi’ means in Kiswahili ‘right now’) was founded in 2003 in Nairobi, Kenya by a group of long time experienced Multimedia, PR and IT professionals.
So, as SasaHivi Media Ltd as a company is relatively young, the experience brought together in it, is very sophisticated.
SasaHivi Media Ltd is all about bringing the best of Technology (Media and Internet) together with the best of Culture (Design, Content creation and Publishing).


Our Products
As SasaHivi Media Ltd has been steadily growing since its existence, so has also the range of products we offer.
We have 3 integrated departments: Technology, Media and Publishing.
The Technology Department deals with Web hosting, Domain names, E-mail Services, SMS Services and Consultancy in Internet related issues, it also serves technical services to the ‘Media’ Department.
The Media Department deals with Content creation, as well in Still Media: Graphic Design, Photography and Printing – Streaming Media: Video, Audio and Interactive Media: Web sites, Online Applications, Software development, DVD-Roms and CD-Roms. The Media Department further develops Public Relations, Advertisements, Content Branding and does Consultancy for the same.
The Publishing Department is responsible for the production and publishing of SasaHivi Media’s own projects and publishes projects in collaboration with other institutions and companies.

Available position:Marketing / Sales Executive
Primary responsibilities
  • Dealing with the marketing requirements of SasaHivi Media Ltd and it’s clients
  • Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Implementing the company’s marketing plan and executing the delivery of approved strategies.
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and marketing campaigns.
  • Managing correspondence with media and advertising outlets.
  • Writing and distributing press releases.
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, involving writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers and printers.
  • Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Generating of regular marketing and sales reports to the management.
  • Selling the services and products of SasaHivi Media Ltd.
Requirements
  • Education and degree(s) in disciplines related to the primary responsibilities.
  • Experience of working in the field of marketing streaming and interactive media.
  • Creativity in developing workable solutions.
  • Ability to express in good spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way.
  • Ability to meet sales targets.
