To contribute to its continued growth, DOT Kenya is now seeking to hire three dynamic Program Assistants to strengthen and sustain its operations in Western, Rift Valley and Coast regions.

The Position
Reporting to the regional Program Manager, the Program Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the DOT program operations, partnership and stakeholder relations in the designated regional field area.

FOSA Manager


Entry Requirements
  • Business degree or its equivalent from a recognized university;
  • Has served in the grade of FOSA Supervisor or Microfinance Officer or a comparable position with similar responsibilities in a SACCO or in a financial organization for at least three (3) years; and
  • Has shown outstanding professional competence in banking/microfinance or related areas and demonstrated high leadership and administrative capacity.
  • A diploma in Banking or Co-operative Management or its equivalent will be an added advantage.
Driver


Entry Requirements
  • Minimum KCSE mean grade D+;
  • Minimum of 4 years driving experience in a recognized institution;
  • Must be a holder of class A,B,C,D,E ;
  • Clean driving licence;
  • Certificate of good conduct;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Good knowledge of Nairobi and its environs.

COMMERCIAL MANAGER JOB VACANCY IN MURANG'A





Kahuti Water and Sanitation Company is a registered Water service provider (WSP) company mandated to manage the provision of water and sewerage services in Kangema and Murang’a East Districts.

We wish to recruit suitable candidates to fill the following position.

Commercial Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, The commercial manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of financial resources of the KAWASCO Company.

Duties and Responsibilities


Formulation and implementation of sound financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Coordinating budgeting and budgetary controls procedures
Coordinating and preparing financial report, waris report and tariff reports.
Liaise with both internal and external auditors
Ensure financial control and disciplines are in place.
Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Effective management of recurrent and capital expenditure.
Preparation, analysis, interpretation and implementation of annual performance contract and the strategic plans and ensure to issues reports on all variances.
Responsible for the preparation of long term plans periodic forecast and cash f flow projections.
Ensuring the existence of effective financial systems and controls.
Ensuring the procurement and disposal act is complied with at all times.
Other adhoc duties as required.

Qualifications


Bachelor of commerce degree (Accounting or business administration)
CPA (K) or equivalent.
Demonstrate professional competence in either financial management accounting or economics.
Unquestionable integrity.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive working in a commercially oriented preferably in the water sector institution.
Experience in using accounting software’s.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Be not more than 45 years of age.
